A few weeks ago I was commissioned to collaborate on a project with a few different artists around the world by taking stills in an empty Osaka for Rolling Stones’ new video single release “Living in a Ghost Town”. Although there are no official lockdown measures in place here in Japan, cities are slowly changing after our State of Emergency was finally enacted. The global impacts and repercussions of this virus are unthinkable but to be involved in a project like this under the current circumstances is so awesome. I’ve chosen a few favourites from all the shots I took on this day; which, despite the sadness of it all, gave me a new perspective on my adopted hometown. All profits made from this song will be donated to charities helping with the relief of Covid-19 and Save the Children.
